Hallie Koches
I’ve been lifting at HealthQuest for over seven years, but my journey into fitness started in a way I didn’t expect. I grew up playing sports but chose to pursue music. Along the way, I found myself turning to lifting—not to shrink myself, but to feel strong and grounded in my body. In 2021, I joined the Army Reserve as a musician, and my passion for fitness only grew from there. I earned my certifications in personal training and nutrition because I knew I wanted to help others feel powerful, confident, and free from the pressure to fit society’s expectations around food and fitness. I’ve struggled with disordered eating and body image issues, and I’m passionate about breaking the stigma—especially for women—around lifting and taking up space. I also specialize in training individuals with special needs, and I find so much joy in creating empowering, accessible fitness experiences for every body. I have a huge love for military-style training and am always pushing myself past my limits. More than anything, I want to help others see their strength, recognize their beauty, and realize they’re capable of so much more than they think.
