Philip Glassner, MD
Dr. Glassner is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at MidJersey Orthopaedics in Flemington and Bridgewater, New Jersey. He’s a three-time New Jersey Monthly top doctor and was Hunterdon Medical Center’s physician of the year in 2013.
Dr. Glassner graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. He earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now known as Rutgers New Jersey Medical School) in Newark, New Jersey, and completed his residency at the New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City. He finished his training with a fellowship in hip and knee arthroplasty at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Glassner is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He holds membership in several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the Hunterdon County Medical Society, the New Jersey Orthopedic Society, and the Medical Society of the State of New Jersey. He also has a faculty appointment at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, New Jersey.
In his practice, Dr. Glassner has notable expertise in primary and revision hip and knee replacement, partial knee replacement, and arthroscopy of the knee. He takes the time to design treatment plans that are best suited to his patients’ individual needs and works closely to ensure successful recovery from surgery. He’s passionate about helping people recover from limited ability and get back to their daily routines as soon as possible.
Dr. Glassner has also been the recipient of NJ Top Doc for the last five years (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021), and the Castle Connolly Top Doctors Award (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021).
