Group Fitness Classes
HealthQuest offers a variety of group fitness classes that focuses on things such as body sculpting, flexibility, and cardiovascular health. Most of our group classes are based on the Les Mills model, which has redefined group exercise by adding high-intensity, interval training workouts. The overall goal of the model is “helping people fall in love with fitness, so they will want to work out.”
Group Fitness Class Descriptions
Keep the Class Classy
- Please be on time for all classes
- Do not enter class before previous class has ended
- Do not step over other members carrying weights
- This is group exercise, so please follow the instructor
- Do not allow your children to help you set up for BodyPump or Cycle classes
- All children under the age of 13 must be checked into KidQuest or KidZone
- You must be at least 13 years old to take group fitness classes. A select amount of Generation Move Kidz classes are offered seasonally
- Please clean the cycling bikes with a sprayed towel and raise all seats and handle bars
- No one is allowed to enter any of the exercise rooms, use the stereo, or use any equipment unless you are participating in class
Class Offerings
The original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast!
Basic stepping, just like walking up and down stairs, is at the heart of BODYSTEP™ – a full-body cardio workout to really tone your butt and thighs.
In a BODYSTEP workout you can expect a mixture of upbeat, rhythmic stepping, with squat and lunge patterns to work the legs. Combine this with movements like burpees, push ups and weight plate exercises, and the result is a fun, uplifting, full-body workout! Don’t worry, there’s heaps of options so that everyone leaves feeling successful.
Our bubbly and approachable instructors coach you through the workout. We play invigorating, hit music and inject a whole lot of fun and personality along the way. You can burn up to 540 calories and you’ll leave buzzing with satisfaction.
LES MILLS SPRINT™ is a 30-minute High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout, using an indoor bike to achieve fast results.
It’s a short, intense style of training where the thrill and motivation comes from pushing your physical and mental limits. A high intensity, low impact workout, it's scientifically proven to return rapid results.
The 30 minutes you put into a LES MILLS SPRINT workout drives your body to burn calories for hours. You combine bursts of intensity, where you work as hard as possible, with periods of rest that prepare you for the next effort. The payoff? You smash your fitness goals, fast.
RPM™ is the indoor cycling workout where you ride to the rhythm of powerful music. Take on the terrain with your inspiring team coach who leads the pack through hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials, and interval training. Discover your athlete within – sweat and burn to reach your endorphin high. Like all the LES MILLS™ programs, a new RPM™ class is released every three months with new music and choreography.
LES MILLS BARRE™ is a modern version of classic balletic training; a 30-minute workout designed to shape and tone postural muscles, build core strength, and allow you to escape the everyday. Incorporating classic ballet positions, with modern music, LES MILLS BARRE is a combination of cardio and strength with high reps of small range-of-motion movements and very light weights.
If you're seeking a different style of training or a new kind of self-expression, you will love LES MILLS BARRE. Without the traditional barre to support you, the muscles supporting your body’s stability and strength becomes the focus. It may look beautiful, but don’t underestimate the burn.
