Studies show that strength training will help prevent osteoporosis, improve your functional strength, and combat sarcopenia. Never weight-lifted? No worries. You will receive step-by-step outlines to guide you through the Fitness Center and get an iron-pumping workout! Our Trainers are happy to help you along the way.

For those who are unfamiliar with the offerings we have at HealthQuest or are new to having a regular fitness routine, we recommend a fun little sampler challenge to allow you to sample different workouts and commit to visiting the club with a purpose several times a week in order to create healthy habits and discover potential staples to your long-term regimen.

We recommend all our Lifelong Fit members look to incorporate all 3 Fitness Components (Cardio, Strength Training, Flexibility & Balance) into their weekly routine. Many people find taking our Group Fitness classes extremely helpful in keeping their "workout appointment", as they enjoy a certified instructor motivating them and leading them through a very effective class. Below are the common class offerings recommended for our Lifelong Fit members. Of course, any club member may also take any class on our full schedule found on our scheduled page.
