Join us Wednesday, May 7th to learn about the importance of balance as we age. Simple assessments and exercises you can do to decrease fall incidents as well as increase exercise mobility. We will also center a portion of the seminar to learning some fundamental Tai Chi. As an added bonus, the Hunterdon Center for Healthy Aging will be on-site providing complimentary balance screenings.
Tai Chi is low impact and puts minimal stress on muscles and joints, making it generally safe for all ages and fitness levels. In fact, because Tai Chi is low impact, it may be especially suitable if you’re an older adult who otherwise may not exercise.
