The Healthquest Hammerheads Swim Team participated in the 32nd Annual Pennsbury Splash at the Pennsbury High School natatorium on Sunday, January 19th , 2014.
Our swimmers swam many personal best times during the meet. Medals were awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, ribbons thru 18th place.
Some of our swimmers finished in the top 10 in their age group.
Top finishers in their events are as follows:
Trevor VanOrden 3rd place, Boys 13-14 100 yard Freestyle, tied for third in the Boys 13-14 50 yard freestyle,
Jay Gallagher 11th place, Boys 13-14 100 yard Freestyle, 8th in the 100 yard backstroke,
Andrew Simmons 12th place, Boys 13-14 100 yard Freestyle, 11th in the 100 yd backstroke,
Katie Krause took 9th place in the girls 6 and under 25 yard freestyle, dropping almost 3 seconds off her best time, 7th in the backstroke, 4th in the butterfly
Riley Bacinski came in 8th in the girls 6 and under 25 yard backstroke, 14th in the 25 freestyle.
Tanya Wintermute came in 2nd place in the girls 8 year old 25 yard freestyle shaving off 1.19 seconds from her best time, 4th place in the 50 Freestyle, 7th in the 25 yard breaststroke, 11th in the backstroke, tied for 2nd in the butterfly.
Oliva VanOrden placed 9th in the girls 8 year old 25 yard freestyle shaving off .61 seconds from her best time, 3rd in butterfly, 14th backstroke
Andrew Buxbaum took 6th place in the 8 years old boys breaststroke, 9th in the backstroke, 11th freestyle,
Grace Lipoczky came in 7th in the girls 13-14 100 yard butterfly, 13th in the 50 freestyle, 14th in the 100 yard breaststroke, 11th in butterfly
Maya Radomsky came in 11 in the 7 year old girls butterfly, 17th breaststroke, 15th backstroke.
Kyle McCoy placed 8th in the 9 year old boys 100 yard freestyle, 10th in the 50 yard Breaststroke and 11th in the 50 freestyle.
Scott Andersons placed 10th in the 9 year old boys 50 yard free.
