Welcoming the grand opening to our new café, we thought it would be nice to share the science behind our new shakes menu!

Start Line Shake

Purpose:

Pre-workout “Hydrator-Antioxidant-Energy”

Ingredients:

Oats – Supplies B Vitamins & Fiber.  Fiber releases carbs into the bloodstream throughout the workout to keep energy up. B Vitamins convert carbs to energy.

Banana – Nature’s power bar that aids in digesting carbs. Has potassium which helps with muscle and nerve function.

Vanilla Protein – Protein assists not only in building muscle, but also in immunity, hormones and stress.

Coconut Water – Helps with hydration & supplies 4 times more potassium than a banana.

Finish Line Shake/Cust Special

Purpose:

Post workout “Anti-Inflammatory, Digestion, Reload, Recover”

Ingredients:

Greek Yogurt – Provides protein, carbs and aids in digestion.

Pineapple – Acts as an anti-inflammatory and provides carbs.

Kiwi – Aids in digestion by breaking down amino acids.

Kashi – Reloads energy in muscles

Vanilla Protein – Protein assists not only in building muscle, but also in immunity, hormones and stress.

Blueberries – Act as an antioxidant and triple the recovery rate.
