January Difference Maker

This month we celebrate Laura Suarez as our Difference Maker! Laura has stepped into many roles at HealthQuest with eagerness. After she completed her internship at the club, Laura instantly took on clients as a Personal Trainer because of her caring and empathetic personality. She not only trains, but assists in running HealthQuest’s Socially Fit program, giving pointers on the fitness center floor, a smile to members at the front desk, membership services and instructing great workouts in The Garage. A true team player, we’re proud of Laura and happy to have her on our team!

HealthQuest Indoor Triathlon

HealthQuest‘s goal is to inspire participants of all athletic abilities to consider and commit to racing a triathlon. This Indoor Tri offers a safe & simulated environment for athletes of all fitness levels to the sport of triathlon. Upon becoming a triathlete indoors, we invite you to commit and register to race on March 20th, 2022.

Our HQ Team is here to support you on your 8-week journey & celebrate your accomplishments along the way.

THE RACE – Sunday, March 20th

Race will begin with a 500 meter swim, transition from the pool to the Spin Studio and cycle until you reach 13 miles & final transition will be 5K treadmill run to finish.

Why Tri?

Challenge yourself to something new. With an 8-week training program & support along the way, the feeling of accomplishment will be a perfect start to the new year.

Street Devils Floor Hockey

The New Jersey Devils and the National Hockey League have partnered with HealthQuest to bring you an exciting floor hockey league! Members and Non-Members ages 6-15 (broken into 2 age appropriate divisions) can learn the game of hockey while playing in this thrilling league. No experience is needed but due to limited space so be sure to sign up early! Cost for the program is $100 per child. Members & Non-Members welcomed.

Local Speed Skater Going to the Olympics!

After placing second in both the 500 & 1000 meter races at the Olympic trials in Milwaukee, Kimi Goetz is going to the Olympics! “Qualifying for the Olympic Games in not only a dream come true but absolutely the greatest honor of my life. I am looking forward to representing the United States on the sport’s largest platform,” said Goetz shortly after finding out she had qualified for Team USA.

At the present time, Goetz is scheduled to skate the 500 meter on February 13th and the 1000 meter on February 17th. Check your local stations (NBC) and Peacock for up-to-the-minute coverage.

A Note from Kimi

“This has been a journey. From inline skating as a young girl at the Frenchtown Roller Rink to moving to Salt Lake City in 2012 to begin training at the Olympic Oval to qualifying for the Olympic team, it has been a journey.

They say it’s a team effort to make an Olympic team. In my case, it was both a team and a town effort. I would not be here without the support of my hometown and many others. I am so grateful to everyone for not giving up on my dream.

Upcoming HealthQuest Hammerheads Home Swim Meets

Sunday, January 30th

The HealthQuest Hammerheads Swim Team will be hosting home a swim meet on Sunday, January 30th in the indoor pool. This will result in the pool being closed on this date from 1-4:30pm. Thank you for your cooperation and showing support for our young swim athletes!
